I studied at Costa Rica School of Massage Therapy with a primary focus on techniques including deep tissue, trigger point, myofascial, and more. I have since trained in SMRT Positional Release Technique, Lymphatic Drainage and Scar Tissue work, Myofascial Decompression Cupping, Medical massage, Sports massage and Ashiatsu barefoot massage. I continue to seek out refresher courses on anatomy, massage techniques, and anything that can make me the most valuable therapist for you!

What should I wear?

Wear something comfortable so you're cozy after your treatment! When it is time for the massage, it's best to undress completely before climbing under the sheet. Professional draping will be used for the duration of the massage so you'll never be indescently exposed. Your comfort is most important, though, so if that means leaving underwear on feel free.

Can we book two massages at the same time? Do you do couples' massage?

Unfortunately, the answer to both of these questions is no. I operate as a solo therapist-owned massage studio and only have the capacity to work with one client at a time. If you're flexible, we can work to set up back-to-back appointments for you and your partner!

No pain, no gain...right?

Not quite!! While there can definitely be that 'hurts so good' feeling while getting deeper work, you should never be truly in pain. If you're experiencing pain or tensing your body consistently during the massage, the work becomes a little counterproductive. It's entirely possible to address problem areas without overdoing the pressure.

Do you accept insurance or HSA's?

At this time, we don't accept insurance. We do have our card processor set up to accept HSA's, though. If you would like to use an HSA card and need an invoice to submit please let us know upon checkout.
